Part-Time Junior Office Administrator
The Irish Association of Social Workers (IASW) is seeking a Junior Office Administrator to join our small, friendly team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in office administration in a supportive, professional environment.

What You'll Do:
As a key member of our 5-person team, you’ll support and report into the Chief Operations Officer and work alongside colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with diary management and online meetings
- Providing admin support to the Board, Special Interest Groups, and IASW members
- Provide admin and operational support to the CPD coordinator for CPD events in person and online webinars
- Attendance at CPD events and conferences (some travel and working hours flexibility will be required, this will be planned for in advance)
- Handling general office tasks, correspondence, and database updates
- Acting as front-of-house and managing calls/emails
- Supporting team projects and event preparation
What We're Looking For:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A proactive, friendly attitude and excellent communication skills
- Minimum of Leaving Certificate and some administrative experience
- Willingness to learn and handle confidential information with care
- Flexibility with working arrangements (this is to accommodate the annual conference and in person events in particular, this will be planned well in advance- see our website for upcoming events)
What We Offer:
- Annual salary: €30,810 pro rata at 20 hours per week
- 22 days annual leave pro rata, plus ~4 additional office closure days
- Hours of work, 4 hours per day, (essential core hours 10am-1pm, Monday–Friday, at least 3 days a week office based)
