ROLE OVERVIEW
Co-operative Housing Ireland is searching for a competent and dependable Senior Administrator to help support our day-to-day operations.
The Senior Administrator is responsible for assisting the Director of Corporate Services & CEO in their daily activities to ensure the successful running of the organisation and managing the Warrington Place office. This role involves providing efficient administrative support, managing office operations and administration budget, handling correspondence, as well as overseeing office supplies and facilities. The post holder will also have a responsibility for overseeing supplies to other CHI offices.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your key duties will include:
- Assisting CEO and Director of Corporate Service in managing their schedule and assisting with the preparation of events.
- Ensuring smooth office operations, including addressing day-to-day needs and managing supplies, deliveries, and payments.
- Managing purchase orders and administration budgets.
- Oversight of national corporate services administration budget.
- Support in coordination of documentation for signing; liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinating facility requirements and maintenance tasks.
- Handling written, digital, and verbal correspondence professionally.
- Establish cross-functional partnerships with various departments inside the organisation.
- Work with a diverse group of people, including Board members, Senior executives, and staff.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar or comparable role.
- High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to work in an organised, proactive, flexible and self-directed manner.
- High standard of written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrable IT skills and experience of Microsoft office 365 with strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Flexible to perform occasional evening & weekend work.
- Motivated to work with the non-profit housing sector, with a passion for making a difference.
