Social Care Worker
NW Cornerstone are inviting internal applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of: Keyworker
Contract: 39 hours per week
Role Purpose/Summary:
- To deliver an efficient, high quality, caring and responsive advice and assessment service for people who are in our Emergency Homeless Service, ensuring that applicants’ housing and support needs are assessed and met in line with the homelessness legislation and statutory guidance.
- To work closely with other Homeless Service Providers, Health Services, Housing Providers and Support Agencies to ensure the housing and support needs of service users are identified and met.
- To provide on-shift cover in our residential homeless projects.
This role is based on a 7 day per week rota, including weekend shifts and overnights.
Candidates are required to have attained:
- A minimum of level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant discipline
- Registered with, or eligible to register with CORU as a Social Care Worker
- Minimum of one years' experience in a Social Care or related field, preferably homeless services.
