Job Title: Acting Co-ordinator

Erris Family & Community Support Centre is a community development organisation working to shape an inclusive, sustainable and independent community that is self-sufficient and provides a supportive environment to all those living in The Barony of Erris.
The Centre works from a combined model of family support and community development.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract Type: Short-term, temporary contract subject to successful probationary period
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications & experience and no less than € 42,666.00 per annum.
Start Date: Monday 26th August.
Interviews will be held on the week of the 24th June.

Criteria for the Position
Essential
- A relevant third level qualification- Minimum Level 7 (or equivalent) in Community Development, Social Care, Family Support Practice, or a related field.
- Experience in family support in a community-based setting.
- Experience working though a community development approach.
- Experience of project management in the community and voluntary sector.
- Experience in supervising and supporting staff.
- Experience of Strategic Planning.
- Experience of Financial Management (including accessing funding).
- Familiarity with Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children (2011).
- Experience of implementing good governance and best practice.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Access to own transport with full driving licence
Desirable
- Knowledge/ understanding of Meitheal National Practice Model.
- Understanding of working in a rural operating environment.
- Experience and skills in implementing community projects.
- Experience of working collaboratively at an inter-agency level.
