Job Coach – County Cavan

EmployAbility Monaghan Cavan is a specialist, not for profit government funded employment support service for people with an illness, health condition, mental health difficulty or disability.

We are now seeking to recruit one fulltime (35 hours per week) job coach to provide specialist employment supports to assist participants to find and maintain suitable employment.

The successful candidates will coach and support participants through an employment assessment and job search process and provide in work supports to the participant and the employer, as necessary,

Qualifications, experience, and skills required:

• Relevant qualification (a qualification in Adult Guidance / Recruitment / HR / Sales / Marketing / Social Studies or related studies, hold a distinct advantage)
• Experience in goal setting, and action planning is desirable
• Ability to show sensitivity towards participants needs and empower them to succeed
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet targets
• Knowledge of recruitment and employer principles, methods, and resources
• Excellent sales, marketing, and negotiation skills and the ability to effectively communicate, influence and network with participants, businesses, and organisations
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Excellent IT skills
• Full clean driving licence and access to a car is essential
