Position: This is a full-time position 35 hours per week and is funded by TUSLA

Overview of Role:

The Project Co-ordinator will oversee the day to day management of a busy Family Resource Centre. The Co-ordinator will lead a staff team and be responsible for maintaining the centre’s ethos, while engaging in community development and family support.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience of community development work in the disadvantaged sector
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate in a caring and professional manner
  • Experience of working in a client focused organisation
  • Experience of working with a voluntary management board
  • Experience of managing staff and volunteers
  • Ability to have financial oversight of project finances
  • Competent I.T. skills
  • A recognised 3rd level qualification in Community Development Work, Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Have a clean driving licence

The post is subject to reference checks and a six- month probationary period.

Salary:

The salary will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
