Job Title: Coordinator

Location: Enniscorthy (Providing a service to the whole of County Wexford)
Reporting to: Chairperson of the Board (& Board of Directors).

Job Function: 

Under the direction of and reporting to the Board of Wexford Consortium for Supported Employment CLG, the Coordinator will ensure the effective and efficient direction and co-ordination of the companies aims also the financial and material resources under his/her control and thereby achieve the stated aims and purpose of EmployAbility Service Wexford.

EmployAbility Wexford operates under contract for the Department of Social Protection and is part of Ireland’s Public Employment Service

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, organise, deliver and review services to clients of The EmployAbility Service.
  • Monitor agreed caseloads with staff and provide relevant reports.
  • Work towards achieving agreed Key Performance Indicators.
  • Liaise with relevant agencies (statutory and voluntary) and employers to ensure a coordinated approach to the clients’ needs.
  • Access and update essential information relevant to the needs of people with disabilities.
  • Develop linkages with the local disability service providers.
  • Publicize the service provided by EmployAbility to promote progress on a county basis.
  • Manage client referrals for the service to ensure KPI’s are achieved.
  • Identify areas for further expansion of the service.
  • Strategically plan the development of the service to its full potential.
  • Be aware of developments in the relevant sectors at government, national and regional level.
  • Work with the Administrator to ensure monthly financial reports are completed and authorized by a Director on a monthly basis.
  • Provide direction, support, monitoring and leadership to EmployAbility staff.
  • Identify and promote staff training and development needs.
  • Liaise with the Administrator to ensure that adequate HR and financial records are continually maintained.
  • Assist with the monitoring and the evaluation of the project.
  • Work with the Administrator to provide information in relation to client status, their progression and solicit client feedback as and when required.
  • Carry out any other function relevant to the position of Coordinator as indicated from time to time, and any other duties required by the board of directors.
