Domestic Abuse Case Worker
Teach Tearmainn is seeking a committed and compassionate Domestic Abuse Case Worker to join our Refuge and Helpline Service team.
Working in our refuge service, the Case Worker plays a vital role in supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse. You will hold responsibility for all casework with the four families in our refuge, delivering intensive one-to-one psychoeducational support using a trauma-informed, empowerment approach.
This role also involves managing personal support plans, offering advocacy, making external referrals, and providing emotional and practical support tailored to each woman’s individual needs. In addition, you will support callers to our Helpline service, completing assessments, intakes and exits for refuge, and contributing to the smooth and safe running of the refuge.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a crisis support environment, can work independently with confidence, and is also a strong and collaborative team player.
