The Adrigole Family Resource Centre T/A The Caha Centre is recruiting for the position of 

Ukrainian / Migrant Support Worker

18.5 hrs. pw. 7 months fixed term contract.

The successful applicant will act as a support person for Ukrainian refugees and Migrants in the Beara Peninsula, Bantry and Glengarriff areas. The support worker will co-ordinate day activities, organise support and advice systems, provide guidance and promote self-advocacy among Ukrainian refugees and migrants. He or She will be expected to develop and organise the delivery of supports for families and foster community participation to advance integration. The support worker will work as part of The Caha Centre team in supporting clients to access our complimentary services, training and other agencies as necessary. Visiting refugees and migrants in the Beara Peninsula and the Bantry and Glengarriff is essential for the position.

Fluency in English is a requirement and Fluency in Ukrainian is desirable.

Access to own transport is required and any job offer would be subject to Garda Vetting/ Police Clearance.
