Mental Health Practitioner (Part Time)
In Sync Youth & Family Services is a dynamic voluntary organisation dedicated to working with children, young people and their families in their local communities. We are committed to their personal and social development within their communities and the provision of quality youth & family services through an integrated multi-disciplinary approach in Kildare and West Wicklow.
This part-time position will deliver one to one psychosocial support through our online platform for young people aged 11-25 years old. The types of support will include text-based, instant messaging, video, telephone, and group work support. The support provided will depend on the presenting issues of the individual young person and the capacity to engage in a meaningful manner to ensure the best outcomes for their wellbeing. The position will be based in Kildare.
Your application should clearly demonstrate that you have:
- a background and training in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Psychotherapy, or a related field.
- a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working with young people, children, or families in a therapeutic setting.
- experience of developing positive working relationships with children, their families and communities.
The successful candidate will be employed by In Sync Youth & Family Services on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
