SACRED HEART FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE has been in operation for the past 18+ years, providing universal and targeted family supports including quality affordable childcare, one to one and group supports, social prescribing, community education and health & wellbeing initiatives. We are a registered charity with multiple funders and are committed to good governance and working from a community development, equality and inclusion focus.
WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:
SHFRC1- Finance and Administration Officer
(35 hrs per week)
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven professional experience (3+ years) in a finance department as relevant to the requirements of the position; (experience of funding compliance and reporting to government bodies)
- QQI Level 6 Accounts Technician qualifications or equivalent.
- Experience of payroll and sage accounts essential together with excellent Microsoft programmes, particularly excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
- A commitment to complying with good governance, health and safety standards, policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including fluent English speaker
- A full driving licence and access to a car for work purposes
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Be flexible and have the ability to prioritise effectively
SHFRC 2- Deputy Childcare Manager
(40hrs per week over 5 days)
Minimum requirements
- Minimum of five years working in Early Years Care and Education.
- Minimum of two years in a supervisory/ managerial role.
- QQI /FETAC Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Care & Education
- Working knowledge of the National Childcare scheme/Early years regulations and quality frameworks/Siolta and Aistear
- Excellent organization and administration skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including fluent English speaker
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise effectively
SHFRC 3- Early Years Educator (AIM)
20hrs per week. (Term time in line with ECCE )
Minimum requirements
- Experience in Early Years Care and Education
- QQI/FETAC Level 5 or above in Early Childhood Care & Education (degree desirable)
- Child-centred focus with knowledge of Early Years regulations and quality frameworks (Siolta and Aistear)
- Commitment to health and safety standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including fluent English speaker
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and effective prioritization skills
