Empowerment Plus is Hiring - Social Care Workers

Job Description:

• One-on-one support for children, young people, parents and vulnerable adults
• Support families to sustain safe care of their children at home
• Support foster families to maintain and strengthen placements
• Supervise access visits between children in care and their families
• Provide emergency supports for children without placement
• Assist young adults transitioning from care to living independently
• Prepare detailed reports for child protection meetings and court proceedings
• Promote independent living for individuals with disabilities
• Collaborate with social workers, guardians ad litem, and other professionals/agencies
• Maintain standards to ensure the safety and welfare of children/vulnerable adults

Essential requirements:

• Must be CORU registered/eligible for CORU registration
• Full, clean, driving license and use of own car
• Minimum level 7 qualification in social care or equivalent
• Passion for helping young people and families – experience is beneficial but not required. New graduates are welcome and will be fully supported!
