Are you passionate about empowering young people through information, support and meaningful engagement?
Kerry Community Youth Service (KCYS) is looking for an experienced and values-driven Youth Information Co-Ordinator to lead the development and delivery of our Youth Information Service to young people in County Kerry and parts of West Cork. This dynamic role involves managing two information hubs, coordinating outreach and digital services and engaging directly with young people to build an inclusive, youth-led service that promotes wellbeing, mobility, digital literacy and active citizenship.
KCYS is a youth-focused organisation committed to providing meaningful support to young people. Our Youth Information Service is funded by the Department of Education and Youth (DOEY) through Kerry Education & Training Board (KETB). Our goal is to ensure young people have access to accurate, relevant and youth-friendly information to support informed decision-making in their lives. As a Youth Information Co-ordinator, you will be central to this mission—empowering young people through guidance, digital and face-to-face engagement to foster their confidence, resilience and independence.
Your Role:
- Lead and manage youth information services within the context of KCYS Integrated Youth Work Model.
- Provide Youth Information to outreach sites in locations across the Diocese of Kerry and on digital platforms.
- Become an active member of KCYS Senior Management Team.
- Coordinate and lead on KCYS digital platforms and website.
- Deliver high-quality, accessible support through 1:1, group and digital youth work to reach young people and promote the work of the organisation.
- Manage a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, ensuring best practice, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Develop innovative youth programmes (e.g. cyber safety, human rights, peer mentoring).
- Represent KCYS within national and European youth information networks including Eurodesk and ERYICA.

Contract: 28 hours/week | 12-month Fixed-Term Contract
