Cooperative Childcare (Cooperative Housing Ireland) are looking for an outgoing, friendly, and creative person who can demonstrate a good understanding of children and their emerging needs. The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative, work within a busy environment and work well within a professional childcare team.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working as a member of the childcare team in the provision of child centred programmes for children.
  • Communicating with parents and caregivers regarding their children.
  • Participating in the planning, implementation, documentation, and review of the services curricula.
  • Demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic and the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ensuring all childcare policies and procedures are implemented.
  • Recording development and milestones of the children.
  • Maintaining advanced hygiene standards as per regulations.
  • Participating in training and workshops.
  • Attending team meetings as arranged by the service manager.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Level 5/6/7 qualification in Early Year Education/School-Aged Childcare.
  • 1 year experience of working in community based early years’ service setting. (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of working within the Aistear, Siolta and STEAM programmes.
  • Right to Work in Ireland on a full-time basis.

HOURS: 9am – 5.30pm

SALARY: Six-point scale from €25,993.50 to €30,829.50

JOB LOCATION: Cooperative Childcare Island Key, East Wall, Dublin 3.

QUALIFICATION LEVEL: Minimum Fetac Level 5
