Domestic Violence Response (DVR) is seeking two proactive, compassionate, and highly skilled individuals to join our dedicated team in Galway. These roles are vital to our mission of supporting women impacted by domestic abuse and ensuring our organisation runs smoothly and effectively.
Support Worker (Admin & Telephone Support)
Part-Time | 25 Hours per Week | Office-Based
As the first point of contact for those reaching out for help, you’ll provide sensitive telephone support and play a key role in coordinating DVR’s daily operations. You’ll support internal systems, communications, HR processes, and fundraising efforts—ensuring DVR remains responsive, professional, and impactful.
Support Worker (Counselling, Support & Information)
Full-Time | 35 Hours per Week
Working directly with women affected by domestic abuse, you’ll offer emotional support, information, and advocacy to help them build safer, violence-free lives. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, trauma-informed practice, and a commitment to empowerment and change.
