Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm, caring, and inclusive environment for children aged [1 to 5 years].
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with Aistear and Síolta.
• Observe, record, and report on children’s development and well-being.
• Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all children in the setting.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and team members.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and room organisation.
• Work collaboratively with the team and participate in training.

Requirements:

• Minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education.
• Experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of child development and early years education.
• Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
• Garda Vetting clearance will be sought.
• Up-to-date First Aid and Children First training (or willingness to complete).
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• An enthusiastic attitude and a caring disposition towards children.
