Donnycarney Youth Project is a vibrant and dynamic community-based addiction team committed to supporting individuals and families affected by addiction. We provide a comprehensive wrap-around service that addresses the complex needs of our clients and their families.
We are currently seeking two dedicated Addiction Case Workers to join our passionate and experienced team.
About the Role:
As an Addiction Case Worker, you will play a key role in delivering person-centred, holistic services to individuals experiencing addiction-related issues, as well as providing support to their families.

Criteria
Qualification
- Role One
Level 8 Degree in Social Care, Social Science, Addiction Studies, or related field
- Role Two
Level 8 Degree in Social Care, Social Science, Addiction Studies, or related field
Experience in Substance Use Settings
- Role One
Minimum 3 years full-time paid experience
- Role Two
Minimum 12 months experience full-time paid experience
Experience in Evidence-Based Interventions (MI, CRA, CRAFT, CBT)

Group Work

Experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of therapeutic groups

Knowledge of addiction-related issues and their effects on individuals, families, and communities

Driving Licence

Full Clean Driver’s Licence essential and DI licence desirable

Additional Information:
- Location: Successful candidates will work across Donnycarney and Bonnybrook/Coolock areas.
- Relief Panel: We are also recruiting for relief staff to form a panel. The above criteria will apply accordingly.
- Salary: Aligned with the HSE Social Care Worker Salary Scale, and commensurate with experience.
