Hours: Full-Time (35 hours/week)
Salary: €40,452.85 – €55,914.32

The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a publicly funded, not-for-profit organisation providing therapeutic and supportive services to children and families across the greater Dublin area. We are currently seeking a Family Worker to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience supporting families and children, who are looking to contribute to impactful, therapeutic work within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and Support Young People in Their Plans
- Facilitate young people's active participation in developing and reviewing their individual plans, ensuring their voice is central and their goals are meaningful and achievable.

- Work Therapeutically with Families
- Deliver structured therapeutic support to families, helping them build on strengths, navigate challenges, and strengthen family relationships.

- Promote Family Empowerment and Self-Reliance
- Support families to build confidence and self-sufficiency, helping them to access appropriate supports and achieve greater independence.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work, Social Care, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing therapeutic support to families (and ideally children aged 4–18)
- A full, valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
Desirable:
- Additional qualifications in therapeutic support
- Experience using outcome evaluation tools and case management systems (e.g., Salesforce)
