Liffey Sound FM is a not-for-profit Community Radio service run by volunteers which was granted a five year license in 2006 to serve the Community of Lucan and its environs.

The Macro Community Resource Centre is a non-profit making facility which provides office accommodation and activity space to community and voluntary organisation which serve the people of the Markets Area of Dublin's North Inner City.

Any request for emergency assistance in the upland and mountainous areas on the island of Ireland is met by a volunteer response from one of the 12 mountain rescue teams that compose Mountain Rescue Ireland (M.R.I.). These teams are on stand by 24/7/365 to respond to requests for assistance are tasked through the 999/112 emergency phone system.

We are the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies Providing Services to People with Intellectual Disability - a national umbrella organisation for voluntary/non-statutory agencies who provide direct services to people with intellectual disability in Ireland.

Samaritans provides confidential emotional. The service is provided 24 hours a day 365 days a year by over 1,800 volunteers. At the heart of this service is the belief - that offering people the opportunity to be listened to in confidence, and accepted without prejudice, can alleviate despair and suicidal feelings.

Serve the City seeks to mobilise volunteers to serve the practical needs of marginalised and vulnerable persons. Ireland's oldest LGBTQIA+ helpline. Formerly known as Tel-A-Friend, then Gay Switchboard, The Switchboard has operated since 1974 providing listening support and signposting for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual and other members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Sexual violence is prevalent in our society, Tipperary Rape Crisis & Counselling Centre works to break the silence around this issue and to support individuals who have experienced sexual violence to empower themselves.

Victim Assistance is a voluntary organisation founded in 2005, that offers a range of services designed to assist victims and those that have experienced a traumatic incident, in coping with the effects of crime and trauma. Our service is also available to victim’s family members.

Voluntary Service International (VSI) is the Irish branch of Service Civil International (SCI), a world-wide movement working for peace and international understanding through the medium of voluntary work, international exchanges and awareness programmes.
