Childminding Ireland is the National Body for Childminding.

Our aims are:

  • to promote high standards in family-based day care for children
  • to promote the interests of Childminders as a very important component in the workforce
  • to provide training, support and advice for Childminders and Parents.

Clanwilliam Institute: Family and Relationship Psychotherapy – Education and Consultancy

Clanwilliam Institute is a registered charity (CHY6591) that provides Education and Psychotherapy. Its mission is to provide high quality and accessible services to the general public including systemic psychotherapy, professional training programmes, organisational consultancy and research. The values of excellence, accountability and transparency guided by ethical rigour and best practice inform all the Institutes activities.

Community Awareness of Drugs

Community Awareness of Drugs (CAD) is voluntary organisation and charity that provides comprehensive drug education programmes for parents and carers, as well as drug education opportunities for a range of community workers.

Evolving as we have from a federation of voluntary community based drug awareness groups today CAD is a highly respected, member of the drug education sector both in Ireland and beyond.

County Limerick Childcare Committee

The County Limerick Childcare Committee was set up in 2000 to:

- co-ordinate childcare services
- increase childcare places;
- improve the quality of childcare in Co. Limerick.

Mission Statement:
To Promote the development of a co-ordinated, integrated, inclusive, strategic approach to the delivery of accessible, affordable, culturally appropriate, high quality childcare services that meet the overall developmental needs of children whilst supporting parents/guardians.

Cuidiú - Irish Childbirth Trust

Cuidiú means caring support in Irish. We are a voluntary parent-to-parent support group and our mission of 'information, education and support' encourages a confident, positive approach to Parenting, empowering parents to make informed choices about issues from infancy right up to adolescence.

We provide support services in Antenatal and Birth Preparation, Breastfeeding, Postnatal and Parenthood.


Cúram seeks recognition for the role of parent and carer and for the value of their work to the economy, to society, to their local communities and to their families.

Cúram provides a forum for parents and carers to exchange information and ideas with each other, with experts, with other groups and with policy makers.

Cúram organises and attends meetings on topics of interest to parents and carers around Ireland, in the EU and at the UN.

Doras Buí

Doras Buí is a community development resource centre that provides high quality supports and services to lone parents living in the greater Coolock area of North East Dublin. We aim to support lone parents to extend their life choices, overcome discrimination and become socially and economically independent.

Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Childcare Committee

Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Childcare Committee is one of 33 County Childcare Committees, which have been established throughout Ireland under the Equal Opportunities Childcare Programme.

Mission, Aims & Objectives
That a range of affordable and accessible childcare options are available and provided within the county, which are of a high quality and standard, are child centred and are appropriate to the individual needs of the child.


Family Resource Centre National Forum

The Family Resource Centre National Forum is a support network working with Family Resource Centres throughout Ireland. The aim of the Forum is to represent the views of all Family Resource Centres nationally and provide practical support to Family Resource Centres involved in family support and social inclusion initiatives.

In using the term 'family support' the Forum is referring to a set of beliefs and an approach to strengthening and empowering families and communities so that they can foster the development of children, youth and family members.

Like most Irish people we are passionate about the family. We are a charitable organisation, built on Christian principles, which supports, encourages and strengthens the family through education and resources.
