Proactively engage with members/families of the Traveller Community experiencing challenges including substance misuse and poor mental health to direct them to the appropriate mainstream services while also providing ongoing supports to the individual and their family.

Responsible for providing effective social policy research and analysis support to MABS in accordance with an agreed research/social policy plan for MABS. The jobholder may be required to travel from time to time, with some flexibility required in line with business needs.

Responsible for guiding & supporting local Travellers to move into employment or self-employment. Also responsible for facilitating training/employment/internship opportunities for local Travellers at the same time as engaging with & managing relationships with local employers.
