Adult Literacy for Life: Collaboration & Innovation Fund 2023

The ALL Collaboration and Innovation Fund is a €1 million funding call to support collaborative and innovative activities that address unmet literacy, numeracy, or digital literacy needs, develops literacy awareness, and work towards creating a more literacy-friendly society for everyone.

safeTALK (Suicide Alertness for Everyone) Training - Cherry Orchard

safeTALK is a 3½ hour ‘suicide alertness’ programme that prepares participants (over the age of 18 yrs.) to identify and engage with persons who may be having thoughts of suicide. Participants learn how to provide practical help by using the steps of TALK (Tell, Ask, Listen and Keepsafe) and also gain information on the supports and resources available locally, regionally and nationally.

Barnardos: Findings of CSO Statistics Survey on Income and Living Conditions ‘Unacceptable’

Barnardos children's charity says the CSO Statistics Survey on Income and Living Conditions (SILC) findings on deprivation are unacceptable. The findings state that one in five children (19.9%) experienced deprivation last year in Ireland and that just under one in six (15.2%) found themselves at risk of poverty.
