The programme is designed to support innovative, non-profit organisations that work to expand access to quality healthcare via community-based solutions that reach populations which may be historically underserved by the healthcare system.
The fund opens for applications on Thursday 4th May and closes on Thursday 15th June at 6pm A fund of €200,000 will be available to support community-based projects and programmes across Ireland and Northern Ireland that are focused on empowering young people aged 16-25.
The Mná na hÉireann, Women of Ireland Empowerment Fund 2023 – 2026 is a $1 million, three-year fund created by Rethink Ireland in partnership with Bank of America and the Department of Rural and Community Development via the Dormant Accounts Fund.
A total of €20 million will be invested in new and ambitious community projects in towns and villages across Ireland under the 2023 Community Centres Investment Fund. For the first time, funding of at least €1 million will be invested in ‘shovel ready’ projects which are located in areas that currently lack community facilities.
Irish Hospice Foundation announce 2023 scholarships for Postgraduate courses – supporting those who provide care for people at end of life and in bereavement. There are 5 scholarships, of €3,000 available. The scholarships are linked to IHF core programmes and applicants are invited from acute, nursing home and community health sectors and from the wider community.
