Foundation Programme in Sexual Health Promotion

Please find attached copy of Flyer and application form for details of the new revised format 6 day national sexual health training programme which will run in Athlone this Autumn.

This Course is certified by the HSE Health and Wellbeing and is accredited by:

• The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland as a Category 1 course awarding 35 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
• Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and awarded 36 CPD points

The programme will run in 2-day blocks over a period of 3 months

Course dates – All Tuesday’s & Wednesday’s

Sep 30th & Oct 1st 2025, Nov 4th & 5th 2025, Dec 2nd & 3rd 2025.

The application is a 2-step process comprising an application form and telephone interview (interviews will take place the week of the 8th of September 2025).

To book a place please fill in the application form attached and return forms to Kathleen Pardy- healthpromotion.midlands@hse.ie Application forms must be signed by a line manager to confirm approval to attend the complete programme.

Closing date for receiving applications is the 1st of September 2025.
