MISSION STATEMENT The mission of Fingal Film Festival is to provide a quality venue, encouraging and promoting the works of local film community and National, International emerging filmmakers. The mission of the festival is "to enable the international film community and the general public to experience the power of film by redefining the film festival experience." We have one of the fastest youngest populations in Ireland, and geographically central to some of the leading media training colleges.

Firkin Crane

If variety is the spice of life, the Firkin Crane has something for every palate. Its current 'menu' ranges from classical and modern ballet to the latest hip-hop and breakdancing.

Everyone interested in dance, from three-year-olds toddling their first steps, or professionals preparing for performance or teaching examinations, to afficionados seeking presentations of the highest quality, will find a class, workshop or recital to fit the bill.

First Music Contact

FMC started life as a cross-border umbrella group for music collectives in Ireland, to promote, encourage and develop the work of music collectives, to facilitate those already in existence and to help in the start up of new groups.

Expansion in the past number of years now sees FMC as the only free and independent information and resource organisation for popular musicians and the popular music sector in Ireland.

The aims of our project are to acquire the Muings Lace School (Barnatra, Ballina, Co. Mayo) from Udaras na Gaeltachta, to restore, adapt and extend the existing premises for the purpose of a small folk museum/heritage centre with a community facility.

Genealogical Society of Ireland

The Society promotes the study of genealogy, heraldry, vexillology and social history as open access educational leisure activities available to all sectors of the community irrespective of age, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic circumstances, educational  qualification or social, religious or ethnic background. The the Society has a Social Inclusion Policy and the endorses the "Principle of Public Ownership & Right of Access" to our heritage.


Gloria is a Dublin based lesbian and gay choir which aims to:

  • Produce excellent choral music
  • Promote a positive image of the Lesbian and Gay Community
  • Provide a space where lesbians and gay men can sing and have fun together.

The Irish Museum of Modern Art is Ireland's leading national institution for the collection and presentation of modern and contemporary art.

The Museum presents a wide variety of art in a dynamic programme of exhibitions, which regularly includes bodies of work from its own Collection and its award-winning Education and Community Department.

The Industrial Heritage Association of Ireland (IHAI) was established in June 1996 to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of the many thousands of sites, monuments and items of machinery that together constitute our industrial heritage.

IHAI Ltd. is a limited liability company registered in the Republic of Ireland and is administered by an Executive Committee made up of individuals who have a wide range of interests and specialisms in the subject.
