Overview

Mind Emotional Nurturing CLG (MINDEMN) invites you to join the GREAT SCREAM Programme (GSP) this November 2025—a fully funded, 16-hour CPD training in Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC) in Education.

Initially scheduled for September, this training has been rescheduled and extended to ensure broader participation and to include teachers, youth workers, community educators, and professionals working in informal learning spaces.

Delivered online, the programme provides practical tools for CBC and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) to help educators and practitioners support young people’s mental wellbeing, emotional regulation, and academic performance.

Why This Training Matters

  • 1 in 3 young people in Ireland experience a mental health disorder by age 13
  • 29% of secondary students report “bad” or “very bad” mental health
  • Educators and youth workers are often the first line of support for struggling students

This training bridges the gap by equipping practitioners with evidence-based strategies to:

  • Understand the brain-mind-body connection in behaviour and learning
  • Respond effectively to stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges
  • Strengthen relationships and prevent conflict escalation
  • Promote both academic engagement and emotional well-being
