Care After Prison: Free Peer Mentoring Programme
Free Peer Mentoring Programme
Care After Prison is a dedicated nonprofit organisation focused on supporting individuals impacted by imprisonment, including current and former prisoners and their families.
Our team is committed to offering a range of support services aimed at those who have served time in prison. We believe in promoting safer communities and reducing reoffending rates by equipping our service users with the essential skills needed for successful reintegration into society.
Peer Mentoring Programme
The Peer Mentoring programme is supported by the Probation Services and is free of charge. It offers support to individuals recently released from prison. It is designed for individuals who have previously been imprisoned and require support during the transition from prison back into society.
The individual being released from prison (Mentee) is paired with a Mentor (who has completed the Peer Mentoring Training Programme). The Mentor provides support by sharing their personal experiences and insights that aided them during their transition back into society.
