The role of Support Worker is to provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. Responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes meals, personal hygiene & other related aspects of physical well-being.

Social Care Workers fulfil a key supportive and advocative role for individuals supported by the service. The Social Care Worker’s role is to support the person in all aspects of their life focusing on the individual's ability & promoting independence & development of skills.

To assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced. Provide complete, person centered care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for people supported.

This role (35 hours / week) will oversee the line management of a number Depaul services in Cork and provide support and supervision to the Local Management Team in these services. The post holder will report directly to our Lead Project Group Manager for the region.
