Children in Hospital Ireland are now seeking Play Volunteers - Nationwide

Children in Hospital Ireland (CIH Ireland) is a national organisation that provides volunteer-led play services in hospitals, thereby easing the experience of hospitalisation for children and their families. CIH Ireland has almost 400 volunteers across 15 hospitals nationwide. Play activities include arts and crafts, board games, story time and more.

Children in Hospital Ireland is recruiting volunteers this autumn for:

  • University Hospital Limerick
  • St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny
  • Cavan General Hospital
  • Dublin hospitals – CHI at Crumlin, CHI at Connolly, CHI at Tallaght, CHI at Temple Street, National Rehabilitation Centre.
  • University Hospital Waterford
  • Mayo University Hospital

CIH Ireland are looking for volunteers to dedicate 2 hours a week for morning, afternoon or evening shifts. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Full training and support will be provided. For more information, please visit www.childreninhsopital.ie
