Summer Volunteering Opportunities

This summer, YMCA Dublin is launching brand new summer programmes for children (ages 5–11) and young people (ages 12–17) in Belmayne (Dublin 13) and De Verdon Place (Dublin 17). We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us bring these vibrant new spaces to life and make a real impact during the school break.

Opportunities

Summer Camps (Ages 5–11):
Support play-based learning through sports, arts & crafts, games, and local outings.

Youth Work Projects (Ages 12–17):
Engage teens in workshops, creative projects, group games, and trips.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver fun, inclusive, and creative activities
• Build meaningful relationships with children and young people
• Help organise outings to local parks and community spaces
• Support setup, cleanup, and activity prep
• Follow YMCA Dublin’s values and safeguarding policies

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for working with children and youth
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependability, energy, and initiative
• An open, playful, and inclusive attitude
