With everyday examples and exercises, we will explore how these new contexts touch us all and influence how we understand and experience digital-age grief, and support others within it.

Often Pet Bereavement falls into the category of disenfranchised grief. Pet bereavement is felt differently by everybody, even those within the same household as our pets mean different things to each of us. However, grief, in all its forms, deserves compassion, consideration, and respect.

Attendees will learn practical ways they can support the person during this process, as well as signs that the individual is struggling to cope. Attendees will also be invited to reflect on their own experiences of loss and how these may interact or colour the ways in which they support others.

This Irish Hospice Foundation Bereavement Workshop will explore the nature of some of the losses experienced by Family Carers, provide insight into elements that impact on how these losses are experienced and provide guidance on supporting a Family Carer who is grieving.

Trinity College Dublin and Belong To published a new report on the mental health and wellbeing of LGBTQI+ people. The report, Being LGBTQI+ in Ireland, is the second iteration of the 2016 LGBTIreland Report. It is the largest sample of Ireland's LGBTQI+ population, with over 2,800 participants.
