30% of adults have experience of Financial Abuse

Almost a third of adults in Ireland have experience of Financial Abuse (30%) – with the vast majority (81%) of the abuse carried by someone well-known to the victim rather than online, or anonymously.

The Department of Environment, Climate and Communications is now seeking Expressions of Interest, in written or video format, to take part in this Committee for a 24 month period commencing from 24th December 2024. The Committee will collectively determine the Terms of Reference at the first meeting.

Free Suicide Bereavement Support Service Launched in Kerry

We hope the HUGG Kerry support group will greatly benefit the local community of Tralee and the surrounding areas including those living in Killarney, Listowel, Castleisland, Killorglin and Ballybunion. The support group will meet monthly, with the first meeting on Tuesday November 26th, 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
