Irish Tourist Assistance Service

Helping tourist victims of crime

The Irish Tourist Assistance Service (ITAS) is a free nationwide service offering support and assistance to tourists who are victimised while visiting Ireland.

The service is run by staff and volunteers who speak a variety of languages. ITAS acts as a base where problems facing a tourist in the aftermath of a crime can be addressed promptly with the view to getting holiday plans back on track.

Kerry Volunteer Centre

The Kerry Volunteer Centre promotes, facilitates, supports and develops volunteering in the Kerry area. Our aim is to enable people to do voluntary work if they so wish by matching them with local volunteering opportunities.

Kilkenny Community Forum

Kilkenny Community Forum represents a wide range of local community and voluntary organisations throughout Kilkenny city and county.

Membership of the Forum gives you an opportunity to interact, share ideas, co-operate in areas of common interest and get in touch with other groups on the register.

The Forum is also a platform for progressing issues of common interest at local government level and beyond.

Membership of the Forum is open to all voluntary and community groups in the City and County of Kilkenny.

L'Arche

L'Arche is a faith community and a voluntary agency that provides a service of support for people with intellectual disabilities.

At the core of L'Arche is the relationship between persons who have an intellectual disability and those who choose to support them in community.

We believe that this relationship is one that is mutually transformative, a sign of hope and a powerful witness in our world.

Let's Get Talking Galway

As a community counselling and psychotherapy non- profit organisation, we provide professional counselling psychotherapy support to all based on their needs and have a non-set fee policy. This social enterprise is built on a wellness principle with three main pillars. Firstly, access to psychological therapies. Secondly, education through lectures and courses, assistance in training for those involved in the study of counselling and psychotherapy; and continuous professional development programmes.

Liffey Sound FM

Liffey Sound FM is a not-for-profit Community Radio service run by volunteers which was granted a five year license in 2006 to serve the Community of Lucan and its environs. 

Liffey Sound FM is committed to serving its community irrespective of creed, class, colour or race; to giving a voice to those not served by the mainstream broadcasting services; to educating, informing and inspiring people in our community and to promoting a sense of community and civic pride.

Listowel Family Resource Centre

Vision Statement: The vision of the Listowel Family Resource Centre is: That all children, parents, care-givers and community members are proactive in a vibrant SAFE society that ensures highest standards in physical, mental, emotional, educational and economic security.

Mission Statement: Our Mission Is: “Listowel Family Resource Centre is a community based resource facility that provides a welcoming, inclusive resource, supporting the Social, Educational, Safety, Informative and Family Support needs of the community.”

MACRO Community Resource Centre

The Macro Community Resource Centre is a non-profit making facility which provides office accommodation and activity space to community and voluntary organisation which serve the people of the Markets Area of Dublin's North Inner City.

The Macro Community Resource Centre built in 2001 in Dublin's North Inner City offers an excellent environment form which a number of service providers in the areas of Youth, Disability, Childcare, Community ICT, Drug Recovery, Education Community Development, Senior Citizens, Community upskilling and information provision work.
