NISIG - the National Infertility Support and Information Group

NISIG – the National Infertility Support and Information Group – is a charity registered support group established in Cork in 1996 by a group of dedicated people who needed and wanted to be in contact with others who understood their grief.

NISIG empowers couples to contemplate real choices to guide them through their infertility journey.

NISIG offers a confidential listening ear to couples and individuals. NISIG is non-judgemental and multi-denominational.

North West Alcohol Forum Ltd

The North West Alcohol Forum Ltd is a Community initiative working to reduce of harmful drinking in the North West.

The North West Alcohol Forum Ltd is a not for profit company tackling alcohol related harms in the North West of Ireland. We work to prevent and reduce the incidence of alcohol-related harm and to increase the availability and quality of education and training programmes and services available to the communities of the North West and cross border.

North West MS Therapy Centre

The North West Therapy Centre is a 5 days service established by a Voluntary Committee in 1993 to provide treatment, management and networking services for people with Multiple Sclerosis. These services also extend to their families and carers within a therapeutic environment bearing in mind new research and developments in relation to the condition.

The Centre is a response to National trends, which showed an increased incidence of Multiple Sclerosis in this area.

Nurture

Nurture is an Irish charity offering timely and affordable professional counselling and supports surrounding pregnancy and childbirth mental health illnesses & emotional wellbeing. Every year Nurture’s helps hundreds of women, men and their families get back to living a healthy & happy life. The charity’s philosophy is one of listening and supporting individuals and families through Counselling, Support Groups, WRAP programme training and education.

One in Four

One in Four exists to support and give voice to people who, as children and/or as adults have experienced sexual violence and to provide a space that by its very existence challenges feelings of shame and self blame. In the often perceived hopelessness and despair of such trauma the possibility of meeting others on the journey offers hope and encouragement.

As a service it respond to the needs of women and men who have experienced sexual violence whether it be as a adult, or as a child.

Outhouse

Outhouse is a community resource centre for gay, lesbian bisexual and transgendered people, friends, families and supporters, serving the Greater Dublin area and Eastern Region.

Services provided include information, support and referral, cafe, library, internet dock, outreach, meeting rooms, social and support groups, Gay Men's Health Project and BelonG To youth project.

Polio Survivors Ireland

Polio Survivors Ireland is the new name for the Post Polio Support Group CLG. We are a charitable organisation set up by Polio Survivors to assist their fellow survivors.

Our mission is to create awareness and provide information regarding the late effects of polio among Polio Survivors, statutory agencies and the wider medical profession, and to ensure that the needs of Polio Survivors relating to their condition are met to enable them to live with dignity.

RADE (Recovery through Arts, Drama and Education)

RADE Ltd (Recovery through Arts, Drama and Education) is a community employment scheme based in Dublin which engages substance mis-users with arts activities such as drama, art, tai chi, film production and creative writing.

The purpose of RADE is to train participants in arts activities designed to facilitate and encourage them in progression routes such as employment, further education and training. All of our activities will improve the quality of life by enhancing:

Saint Joseph’s Shankill

Saint Joseph’s is the only home in Ireland solely dedicated to dementia care in Ireland – where feelings matter most. 60 people call Saint Joseph’s their home and we also provide a weekly respite service and day care facility. We are a Quality of Life Butterfly Home awarded by Dementia Care Matters.
