Irish Peace Institute

To explore the concept of peace and peaceful change at international, national and regional levels; and in particular to examine and develop the conditions of peace, justice and reconciliation on the island of Ireland.

To foster among the Irish public a capacity for the management of peace and co- operation as well as the acquisition of the intellectual and practical skills of conflict analysis, mediation, and negotiation of difference that they can take into public and private life.

Munster Mediation Services

Munster Mediation provides services to those who wish to pursue Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as part of, or instead of litigation.
Our services are provided to couples separating or divorcing; employees with grievances; people engaged in commercial disputes and other matters where the parties are open to resolving the matter in a low-cost and timely manner as opposed to lengthy and costly litigation.

NUS-USI Student Movement

The National Union of Students-Union of Students in Ireland (NUS-USI) was established in 1972 under a unique arrangement where both the British and Irish national student unions, National Union of Students(NUS) and Union of Students in Ireland(USI) respectively, jointly organised in Northern Ireland to promote student unity across the sectarian divide.

The Peace & Neutrality Alliance (PANA) was established in December 1996 in Dublin. Membership is open to all groups and individuals that accept our 5 objectives.

PANA seeks to advocate an Independent Irish Foreign Policy, restore Irish Neutrality and to promote a reformed United Nations as the Institution through which Ireland should pursue its security concerns.

PANA Objectives:

The Ireland Funds

The Ireland Funds support hundreds of projects, North and South, which promote peace and reconciliation, arts and culture, community development and education. The Funds provide grants ranging from a few hundred pounds to over a million.

For many projects, a seed grant from The Funds provides the leverage necessary to qualify for additional monies from government agencies and other organisations.

Tipperary Peace Convention

Tipperary Peace Convention is a voluntary organisation based in Tipperary Town. The organisation has been in existence for 25 years promoting the concept of peace through music, song, discussion and debate. The Peace Convention relies on local funding and some grants from bodies such as the Peace and Reconciliation Fund to fund its activities. The organisation is held in very high esteem both nationally & internationally and is deeply committed to the promotion of peace and reconciliation.
