Volunteer Ireland have seen that many volunteer involving organisations (VIOs) find it difficult to recruit new volunteers and meet the changing needs of volunteers who are increasingly looking for flexible ways to volunteer. Volunteer Ireland is now undertaking a 2-year project to address this, and we are looking for VIOs to join us!  We are looking for volunteer involving organisations and Volunteer Managers / Leaders of Volunteers to join a steering group leading on this work.

Suicide or Survive are delighted to be bringing a Wellness Workshop to the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre Cullies, Co Cavan on the 1th of May 2023. A Wellness Workshop is an opportunity for you to take time out and learn a wide range of simple practical and effective tools and tips that you can use in your everyday life to improve your own wellness. These workshops aim to help you understand and take charge of your own mental health. The workshop is for anyone and everyone as we all have mental health!

Global Action Plan is inviting local community groups to take part in the Climate Heroes challenge. Funded by Irish Aid, the 'Climate Heroes’ competition will see local groups across the country try to minimise their carbon footprints. Competition will begin on Earth Day 2023, 22 April and last for two weeks.
