Third Age are currently seeking volunteers to join our dedicated AgeWell Companion team.  AgeWell is a peer-to-peer care model which includes a befriending service and is being run in partnership with the HSE promoting the health and wellbeing of older people.
As an AgeWell Companion  you will visit older people at home, providing contact, company and acting as a link to the local health care system and local community services.

The 2023-24 funding call for the Research Promotion Scheme is open. This year’s theme is ‘Disability in Marginalised Groups and Communities’. We anticipate awarding up to three grants and are open to individual grant applications for varying amounts between €15,000 & €40,000 with the total funding available not exceeding €80,000. Applications that demonstrate meaningful involvement of disabled people in the research process will be particularly welcome.
