Suicide Bereavement Training for Professionals is a one-day training where participants’ awareness of the unique aspects associated with suicide bereavement is enhanced. Participants develop greater understanding and awareness of support needed for people who have lost someone through suicide.
Community Impact Network does this through provision of Training, Mentoring, Governance & Best Practice, Collaboration & Technology support to members. Partnerships are developed between statutory, community and voluntary services which will enhance services for older people.
This year-long course is intended for people from a variety of disciplines who are intending, beginning, or already practising supervisors. This 2.5-year programme will be of interest to practising therapists and play therapists who wish to extend their existing qualification in counselling and psychotherapy to master’s level and work with children and adolescents. Monthly 3 block days (Usually Friday evenings, all day Saturday and all-day Sunday).
Applicants will hold a Level 8 Degree in the helping professions (counselling, psychotherapy, social care, social work, psychology, psych nursing, mental health, addiction etc.). Those who hold a Level 7 Degree in the helping professions, plus appropriate relevant work experience may be eligible to apply under RPL.
