Music Capital Scheme is now open for applications

€1,090,700 in funding announced for the Music Capital Scheme 2024, along with two new awards. The regular scheme, which comprises three different awards, provides funding for the purchase of musical instruments to individual professional musicians and to non-professional performing groups, and is now open for applications.

Irish Youth Foundation: Coca-Cola Thank You Fund 2024

This fund will be available to support community-based projects and programmes across Ireland & Northern Ireland that are focused on cultivating inclusive communities by empowering young people aged 16-25 to become skilled and engaged citizens under the pillars of learning and sustainable development.

Irish Hospice Foundation: Scholarships in End-of-Life & Bereavement Care

We offer a small number of scholarships up to the value of €3,000 each to make education in end-of-life and bereavement care accessible to multiple disciplines (nursing, medicine, allied health professionals and others).

Communities Integration Fund 2024

The Communities Integration Fund enables community-based organisations across Ireland to build on their vital work in reaching out to, and helping to, integrate migrants into local communities. Successful organisations will receive grant funding of €1,000 – €5,000 to support local integration initiatives.

Grants Available for Training Networks

The Wheel is delighted to launch Training Links 2024 – 2026. Training Links funds community and voluntary organisations to form Training Networks — groups of organisations who come together to undertake training that they may not have the opportunity to do individually.

Our Rural Future: 2024 Community Recognition Fund

The Minister for Rural & Community Development has announced a further €50 million in funding under The Community Recognition Fund, to deliver projects over 2024- 2025. The Community Recognition Fund was first introduced last year to recognise the huge efforts made by communities in welcoming and supporting people coming to Ireland.
