Towards healing is currently open to applications to join their panel of Affliate Counsellors.

Towards Healing is an independent organisation providing professional support for people who have experienced institutional, clerical or religious abuse in Ireland. We are currently seeking qualified and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists with an established private practice to join our panel of affiliate counsellors. Applications are open for counsellors working in all areas of Ireland and London. Counsellors are paid based at an hourly rate on a monthly basis.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Degree qualification in counselling and/or psychotherapy (HETAC Level 8)
• Full and active accreditation with the either of the IAHIP, IACP, ICP or PSI.
• Fully insured.
• Engaging in regular supervision, minimum monthly.
• Experience working with survivors of trauma especially welcome.
• Experience with computer software and computer systems, including email, online platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and client management systems.
• Counsellor must be working in Private Practice.
