The Purpose of the Role

Student 2 Student (S2S) is seeking to appoint a full-time Executive Officer to join our small but very dynamic, student-facing team.

The Executive Officer will be working closely with the S2S Coordinator, S2S Programme Officer and with student volunteers to ensure the ongoing success of the Mentoring and Peer Support programmes. They will also support the ongoing promotion of the services offered by S2S and help to implement quality assurance for both the students accessing the services, and the volunteers delivering student support.

The Executive Officer will hold primary responsibility for a busy mailbox, and for significant levels of data processing including volunteer applications, Blackboard module scoring, mentor pairings, group allocations, orientation timetabling, and reimbursement requests. They will also be responsible for day-to-day management of the S2S social media accounts, weekly email communications with S2S volunteers and will support the maintenance of the S2S student spaces in House 47.

This role requires a flexible approach to working hours at peak periods and to support student meetings/events outside of normal working hours. This is a specific purpose contract, supported by external funding. This employment is not offered on an indefinite basis, as this funding is finite.

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Executive Officer Merged Salary Scale ( €30,252 - €48,082 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
