Who we are:

Established by the Religious Sisters of Charity in 1879, the Hospice in Harold’s Cross was opened in response to the healthcare needs of the community.

Today, Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services (OLH&CS) provides specialist care for a catchment of over a million people with a wide range of needs, from residential rehabilitation to end-of- life care, from our bases in Harold’s Cross, Blackrock (est. 2003) and Wicklow (est. 2020).

Tasks

The role of the Hospice Sunflower Days Collector is to sell Hospice Sunflower Days merchandise to the public on our national flag days in June annually at various locations in South County Dublin.

Hospice Sunflower Days is only made possible by our fantastic volunteers.
Join us on Friday 7th and/or Saturday 8th June.

We greatly appreciate your time and welcome you to join us in the fun!

Volunteers will:

  • Collect merchandise from agreed location - Harold's Cross or Blackrock, Wicklow
  • Attend your specified location on the day and time agreed with fundraising team
  • Return any unsold stock items to the Volunteer Sunflower Day Coordinator

Locations of collections across South Dublin and County:

Ballybrack, Ballyfermot, Blackrock, Cabinteely, Churchtown, Clondalkin, Crumlin, Deansgrange, Donnybrook, Dublin 12, Dublin 16, Dublin 20, Dublin 22, Dublin 24, Dublin 4, Dublin 6, Dun Laoghaire, Dundrum, Fonthill, Kimmage, Liffey Valley, Long Mile Road, Lucan, Mount Merrion, Nutgrove, Palmerstown, Ranelagh, Rathfarnham, Rathmines, Sallynoggin, Stillorgan, Tallaght, Templeogue, Terenure

What’s required:

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Physically fit.
