Disability Equality Specialist Support Agency: Request for eLearning Tender

Disability Equality Specialist Support Agency

Request for tenders (RFT) to design, develop, manage and support a new eLearning training module for DESSA

Background The Disability Equality Specialist Support Agency (DESSA) invites tender submissions from experienced eLearning providers to design, develop and support an eLearning training module for DESSA. The eLearning training module will be used by staff and volunteers working in children and young people’s services and in the broader Community & Voluntary sector. It will enhance understanding and awareness of disability as a human rights and social inclusion issue and will support staff and volunteers to reflect on and improve their work practice.

This is a partnership initiative between DESSA and four Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC’s) in Dublin South City, Dublin South, Waterford and Wexford.

DESSA is a national community development organisation working to support the full and equal participation of disabled people in Irish society by creating inclusive and non-disabling communities. (www.dessa.ie).

CYPSC’s are county-based interagency structures that plan and co-ordinate actions to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families. For further information on the CYPSC initiative see www.cypsc.ie.

This project is funded under the What Works Sharing Knowledge Fund 2022. WHAT WORKS is an initiative led by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, with funding from Dormant Accounts.
