Evaluation: Women’s Wellbeing Programme
Target group: Women aged 18-45 years in the Dublin 8 area
Introduction
Fatima Groups United, Family Resource Centre (F.G.U.) is now seeking tenders from interested parties for the evaluation of a new pilot project addressing women’s mental health: The Women’s Wellbeing Programme. This programme has been funded by The Health Service Executive through Mental Health Ireland grants scheme for community and voluntary groups. The programme will run from September 2022 until December 2022. It is expected that the evaluation will follow the programme with final report due by end December 2022.
Background
Fatima Groups United (FGU) is the representative body of residents and projects in Fatima, Dublin 8. However, in this project and much of its work its reach is Rialto and the wider Dublin 8 area. Established in 1995, Fatima Groups United has been the driving force behind the successful regeneration of Fatima that has seen the physical and social transformation of the old flats complex. The project operates from community development principles and practice, providing key services in the areas of health and wellbeing, education, employment, arts, childcare, counselling support, information and advice, family support and advocacy.
