Carlow County Development Partnership CLG (CCDP) was established in 2009 and is responsible for the strategic management and delivery of a range of publicly funded economic and social development programmes and initiatives to individuals, enterprises and communities throughout Carlow Town and County.


The Governance subcommittee of Carlow County Development Partnership has undertaken a review of the current governance infrastructure in the context of compliance with the Charities Governance Code. While there is a satisfactory framework to support the ongoing mission and programme of work of the partnership, inclusive of board activities there are some areas of this infrastructure that could be enhanced further in order to ensure that best practice is applied in all areas of the company’s work.
