Request for Tender: Index of measures database and search engine
The Centre for Effective Services (CES) is a not-for-profit, intermediary organisation with offices in Dublin and Belfast. We connect policy, practice and research, helping to ensure the implementation of effective services, to improve the lives of people living across the island of Ireland.
CES is developing a suite of resources for professionals in the statutory, voluntary and academic sectors who work in the development and improvement of services for children, young people and their families. One of these resources is a list of validated tools that are used in monitoring and evaluation.
This ‘index of measures’ will be a searchable database of approximately 200 records. Each record provides descriptive information about a ‘standardised measure’, which is a survey tool that is used in social and evaluation research.
The tender involves two strands of work:
- Construction of a publicly accessible database to be hosted and managed by the Centre for Effective Services
- Construction of a search engine for this database which will be hosted on the CES website (https://www.effectiveservices.org/) and on third-party websites using an API.
CES now wishes to commission a suitably qualified ICT developer/company to construct the database, search engine and API.
Please see Request for Tender Document attached below for further details on the scope and requirements of the Index of measures database and search engine.
The closing date for receiving proposals is 5pm, Monday 1st June 2020.
Tender applications should be submitted by email attachment to email@example.com, and should include the subject line ‘Index of measures database and search engine’.
