EmployAbility Service Kildare provides support and training to individuals who have been out of work, through illness, injury or disability, to enter or re-enter the workforce.

We are based in Kilcullen, but provide a Supported Employment service to people throughout County Kildare.

We are currently seeking applications for the post of:

Job Coach/ Job Developer

The successful candidate will work as part of a highly dedicated team in preparing participants for employment in the open labour market. This will include, assessments, exploration of options, job sourcing and job coaching and on-site support.

You must possess the ability to work as part of a team and adopt a proactive approach in promoting the services of the organisation to potential employers and the wider community. The position requires high professional standards and excellent communication skills. 

The successful candidate will ideally have;

• Third level qualification or equivalent in the area of recruitment, sales and or supported employment.
• Experience of using recruitment and employment principles, methods, techniques and resources
• Excellent IT skills
• An awareness of and familiarity with the issues/barriers facing people with disability entering into employment

Experience of working in the area of “disability and employment” although desirable is not essential.

Remuneration for the position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Full Clean driving licence and the use of a car is required for this position.
