The nature of this remit allows for enormous creative and high-quality social media campaigns that bring research to life and to influence through strong peer to peer story telling.

We now seek a creative, dynamic and experienced social /digital media executive to lead this new and evolving direction. If you love to create engaging social media content and are skilled at getting the best out of platforms from Tik Tok to LinkedIn, we would love to hear from you.

Drinkaware are open to candidates who can manage this function full time as an employee or independent contractor. Candidates will have the benefit of working remotely with support from small team internally plus third-party agencies.

The Role

Digital And Social Media

  • Manage all aspects of Drinkaware’s online footprint across all social media platforms
  • Create and schedule engaging video content for Meta, Tik Tok and LinkedIn using video and infographics. Manage and create content from managing third party agencies to in-house scheduling
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital media strategies in collaboration with the company’s external digital agency
  • Manage digital media agency in delivering KPI’s across reach, traffic, engagement, community development, website performance
  • Oversee website content and development
  • Compile and present digital reports on a monthly and quarterly basis for inclusion in board reports, annual reports, and organisational updates

Comms Support

  • Support the CEO in managing Comms and PR Function and Agency
  • Support the PR function in planning, co-ordinating info for media releases, scheduling and proof reading to technical support
  • Maintain consistent messaging and brand voice across all communication channels
  • Provide communications support for events, including webinars and live broadcasts, by managing planning, logistics, invitations, technical setup, and post-event recordings.

Requirements

  • Digital Media /Marketing Qualification/formal training in social media is preferable but not as essential as proven experience and skills acquired via hands on application
  • 3–5 years of experience in a social media/ digital media /content creation
  • Demonstrated experience in video content creation (e.g. reels, infographics,)
  • Proven ability to develop and execute digital campaigns with a strong understanding of social media platforms and content strategies
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, One Drive, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Canva and Eventbrite
  • A proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for creating content and campaigns.
  • Experience working with and managing external agencies and vendors.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively – team player with a can-do, problem-solving attitude
  • Solid understanding of event planning and coordination, both online and in-person
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and consistency

Desirable

  • Experience in editing software for video and podcast production
  • Strong knowledge of PR practices, including editing press materials and supporting media engagements.
