Vacancy: Clinical Operations Manager

Salary: HSE Grade VIII PayScale

The Irish Family Planning Association (IFPA) is Ireland’s leading sexual health provider. We provide a wide range of services at our medical clinics and nationwide counselling centres, including specialist pregnancy counselling, abortion care, sexual and reproductive health services, and education and training.

An opportunity has arisen for a suitable candidate to join the IFPA’s manager team as our Clinical Operations Manager.

The Clinical Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the clinics are well led, operate efficiently, and deliver the required client volumes and financial performance.

The client must be at the centre of all care, and clinical services should achieve exceptional levels of client care and satisfaction. The post holder is responsible for leading the development and establishment of new services, as well as ensuring that IFPA clinic services are tailored to provide personalized sexual health care and education for diverse needs.

The successful applicant will require:

  1. Experience within a client focused service industry, ideally within a healthcare environment, as well as experience managing high client volumes and responding to changes in client demand.
  2. A proven track record of leadership and experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
  3. The ability to manage resources effectively and evidence of being a successful budget holder.
  4. A professional nursing/healthcare/business qualification or a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a senior manager in a healthcare environment.
