Wexford Volunteer Centre: Centre Manager
Wexford Volunteer Centre is a not-for-profit organisation, committed to developing volunteering in County Wexford. We are a part of a network of 29 volunteer centres nationally and funded by the Department of Rural & Community Development.
The Role:
- Under the stewardship of a Voluntary Board of Trustees, the Centre Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of a multi-disciplined services centre.
- The role blends operations, strategy, finance and communications.
- Keys to success include, excellent leadership, analytical, managerial, facilitation, interpersonal and project management skills.
The purpose:
The position will focus on promoting volunteering across County Wexford,
Minimum Requirements:
- An appropriate 3rd level qualification or extensive relevant Community & Voluntary sector experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management/leader role.
- Proven financial management experience.
- Strong computer skills with an ability to learn and use new tools.
- A passion for community engagement and development.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- A full clean driving license with access to own transport.
